The orphan sponsorship project aims to care for orphans and raise their standard of living by providing financial support to them on a monthly basis.
- This project will benefit from 200 orphans (100 orphans from the West Bank and 100 orphans from the children of martyrs).
- The average orphan sponsorship rate is $50 per month.
The orphans of Palestine are constantly increasing!
Due to the ongoing Israeli bombardments on Palestine and attacks waged by the occupation of the parents directly or indirectly, it has increased the number of orphans excessively in Palestine. There are nearly 200 thousand orphans in the West Bank and Gaza, which has been confirmed by the Minister of Social Affairs (Magda Masri). This ratio is the highest among the Arab region.
The brutal occupation practices against the Palestinian families directly affected the children who lost their parents as the deteriorated living conditions, health and education in light of poor economic conditions and insecurity.
To contribute to the care of orphans from homelessness and loss, the Mission Relief organization gave priority in charity programs to serve children orphaned through a project of sponsor an orphan.
