Help us distribute 1,000 coupons to Palestinian orphans in West bank and Alaghwar in order to buy clothes to them.
The joy of a new dress for orphans means the world. Making orphans happy is priceless.
Children of the West Bank in Palestine!
In light of the harsh humanitarian conditions that many people live in today, children represent the most vulnerable group confronting waves of violence and abuse. This prevents them from enjoying any occasion or opportunity to practice their childhood or to live as very ordinary children in very normal circumstances.
At the peak of the lockdown and economic restrictions, around 110,000 additional Palestinians entered poverty. The new poor were concentrated in rural areas of the West Bank and were more likely to be living in female-headed households. With 20% of previously employed main income earners losing their jobs, income fell in more than 60% of Palestinian households during the height of the pandemic.
The crisis has tightened its jaws on them with the impact it has had on their families’ ability to respond to their basic needs, not to mention the need for psychological well-being and the satisfaction of less urgent needs.
The joy of children when shopping for clothes is indescribable!
We cannot change their reality; but we can at least contribute to improving their conditions and making life less complicated for them. We can build on the hope that children have and take any opportunity to bring joy to them.
Through the “New Outfit for Orphans” Campaign, Mission Relief Association seeks to distribute 1,000 coupons to orphans in West bank and Alaghwar and the children of families who were forced by the Israeli occupation army to leave their houses after demolishing them and live in caves in order to buy clothes to them.
The aim behind the distribution of coupons is to give children and their families the freedom of choice in a way that guarantees their human dignity .
Help them live without sadness or pain, give them the hope and feeling that life is still beautiful and worth living.
