Ramadan food baskets for Lebanon

Charity does not decrease wealth

Tripoli is located in the Northern Suburb of Lebanon; the second-largest city in the country. It is ranked by the World Bank as the poorest city on the Mediterranean coast; where the majority of people are living under the poverty line earning $2/day.
Due to the Coronavirus and growing economic instability, Tripoli is experiencing trialing times. Many parents can’t provide basic necessities for their children. The Elderly and widowed have no means of financial assistance.
As we welcome Ramadan, we need to work together feeding families in need and helping them in their most difficult times during this holy month.
With your support, and in cooperation with Mission Relief, The Tripolitan Cuisine Group will run the Ramadan Food Campaign. A series of events have been organized in order to achieve this goal. It will enable Mission Relief to lift the burden and provide the residents of Tripoli with food boxes, iftar, and donations.
Donations are needed to make sure no family is missing out.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “He who removes from a believer one of his difficulties of this world, Allah will remove one of his troubles on the Day of Resurrection”. (Abu Hurairah)
